Starting Friday, September 25, Alien Swirling Saucers in Toy Story Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios will debut a brand-new musical experience. The attraction is getting an updated soundtrack called "Lilypad's Jams," built around Lilypad, a frog-shaped smart tablet character from Toy Story 5 who serves as the ride's DJ.

The new music pulls from both classic Toy Story songs and original tracks written specifically for the attraction. You'll hear reimagined versions of beloved numbers like "You've Got a Friend in Me," "We Belong Together," and "I Can't Let You Throw Yourself Away," mixed with fresh songs like "Pizza Planet Promo" and "Spin It Back, Lilypad." The soundtrack draws from multiple genres, including pop, country, EDM, and alt-rock, and was recorded in Nashville with professional musicians.
Walt Disney Imagineering worked with Pixar on the project. As Senior Story Lead Geoff Line explained, the goal was to expand the Toy Story universe while creating music that felt fresh but still captured the heart of the films. Thomas Niederhiser, the Senior Creative Producer, noted that the team wanted songs that were "singable, sincere and a little cheesy."
If you're not riding the attraction, there's still plenty to experience. Lilypad will be performing and entertaining guests throughout Toy Story Land, introducing songs, playing games like unscrambling puzzles, drawing on her tablet, and sharing "home videos" of Toy Story characters. It's a small addition to the land, but it ties into the September 23 release of Toy Story 5 on Disney+, bringing the newest character into the parks right on schedule.
