Here's what's coming for Halloween and fall at Disneyland in 2026
Disney's announced the full lineup for Halloween Time and fall celebrations at Disneyland Resort in 2026, and there's a lot to plan around if you're thinking ahead. The festivities run from August 21 through October 31 at Disneyland Park, with Disney California Adventure hosting Plaza de la Familia through November 2. There's also Oogie Boogie Bash, the separately ticketed after-hours party, running select nights from August 18 through October 31.

What's happening at Disneyland Park
When Halloween Time kicks off in late August, you'll see the park fully decorated with fall vibes. Characters including Mickey and Minnie will be wearing new seasonal outfits with harlequin patterns, frilled details, and fall colors. Jack Skellington takes over the Haunted Mansion again with the Haunted Mansion Holiday overlay, featuring a redesigned gingerbread house and characters from The Nightmare Before Christmas.
You'll find photo spots throughout the park, including the Halloween Tree in Frontierland and the Main Street Pumpkin Festival, which features the iconic giant Mickey pumpkin. There's a new Star Wars carved pumpkin at the Partners Statue too.

Every night, Halloween Screams projects villains like Maleficent and Ursula across Sleeping Beauty Castle, Main Street, "it's a small world," and the Rivers of America with spooky music. Select nights include fireworks. There's also a paid Disney's Happiest Haunts Guided Tour if you want a deeper dive into the park's Halloween story.

California Adventure gets its own Halloween flavor
Disney California Adventure treats Halloween with a different style. Cars Land transforms into Radiator Screams with Halloween versions of the cars and themed attractions like Mater's Graveyard JamBOOree and Luigi's Honkin' Haul-O-Ween. Each evening, a "Sha-BOO" moment lights up the land.

In Avengers Campus, Guardians of the Galaxy: Monsters After Dark takes over with Rocket asking you to help contain loose monsters. For younger kids, "Mickey's Trick and Treat" at the Disney Theater offers dancing, bubbles, and character meet-and-greets.

Food, shopping, and more
You'll find seasonal treats throughout the resort. Some returning favorites include Oogie Boogie Lemonade from Smokejumpers Grill and Heatwave Pizza from Alien Pizza Planet, though Disney says a full food guide is coming closer to the season. Merchandise includes pumpkin-themed Mickey hoodies, fall-inspired ear headbands, and other seasonal items.

The resort hotels get in on the fun too. Pixar Place Hotel has new Monsters Inc. décor, and Disneyland Hotel features Haunted Mansion touches. Special character dining options include Mickey's Autumn Adventures at Storytellers Cafe and Clarabelle's Enchanted Halloween Dinner, with reservations opening later in the summer.

Plaza de la Familia and Día de los Muertos
Running alongside Halloween, Plaza de la Familia celebrates Día de los Muertos with inspiration from Pixar's Coco. You'll see vibrant marigold arches, skeleton statues, and a memory wall where you can leave notes for loved ones. There's live mariachi music at Paradise Garden Bandstand and a traveling troupe performing songs from the film.

Paradise Garden Grill is offering seasonal Mexican-inspired dishes like Chilaquiles Carnitas Torta. Disneyland Park also features a Día de los Muertos installation near Rancho del Zocalo with traditional décor elements.

Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit and other activities
A new activity called Pluto's Pumpkin Pursuit lets you search for uniquely designed pumpkins throughout the resort. You'll buy an activity map and redeem it for a prize. Downtown Disney is getting seasonal movies and live music performances on the LIVE! stage.
About Oogie Boogie Bash
The separately ticketed Oogie Boogie Bash runs from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. on select nights. You get early entry to California Adventure (three hours before the party) plus the full party experience with shorter ride waits, trick-or-treating for candy, and unlimited PhotoPass downloads. Pricing and the costume policy are available on Disneyland.com.

If you're planning a fall trip for 2026, you've got plenty of options whether you want full Halloween energy, cultural celebration, or a mix of both.
