The 2026 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Dates Are Here

Disney just announced the 2026 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates running from August 7 through October 31, with tickets going on sale in May. This year's party features a new Stitch-hosted dance party in Tomorrowland, plus returning favorites like the Boo-to-You Parade and Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. Start planning your costume now because these nights sell out fast, especially with over a dozen candy stops and special character meet and greets on the lineup.

Okay, so we finally know when we can wear our ridiculous costumes and eat our body weight in candy without judgment. Disney just dropped the 2026 Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party dates, and honestly, August can't get here fast enough.

The party runs from August 7 through October 31, but only on specific nights. You've got your pick of Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays in August, plus some extra dates scattered through September and October. Halloween itself is on a Saturday this year, and yes, there's a party that night. Because obviously.

When Exactly Are We Going?

Here's the full rundown so you can start begging your boss for PTO:

  • August: 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, 23, 25, 28, 30
  • September: 1, 4, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 24, 25, 27, 29
  • October: 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 13, 15, 16, 18, 22, 23, 25, 27, 29, 31
Just so you know, August and September are mostly Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, with one random Thursday in September. October gets wild with Thursdays, most Fridays and Sundays, and that special Saturday Halloween date.

Tickets: The Important Stuff

If you're staying at a Disney resort, the Swan, Dolphin, or Shades of Green, you get first dibs on May 5. Everyone else has to wait until May 12. And seriously, don't sleep on this. These parties sell out fast, especially the October dates.

Prices vary depending on which night you pick, and Annual Passholders and DVC members get discounts again this year. You can grab tickets at Disneyworld.com/Halloween or call 407-934-7639 if you like waiting on hold.

Here's a pro tip: your ticket gets you into Magic Kingdom at 4:00 PM, even though the party doesn't officially start until 7:00 PM. That's three extra hours to ride stuff before the real fun begins.

What's Actually Happening This Year?

First off, Stitch is taking over Tomorrowland. He's hosting a dance party at the Rockettower Plaza Stage with Lilo and Angel, and apparently he's raiding Lilo's costume trunk. Every time he changes outfits, the party theme switches. It's chaotic and we love it.

The Cadaver Dans are back too, because we need our barbershop quartet of dead guys singing in harmony. It's not Halloween without them.

The Classics We Can't Wait For

Boo-to-You is returning at 8:15 PM every party night. You'll get the Headless Horseman leading the way, followed by Mickey and friends in costumes, plus all the grave diggers with their sparking shovels. If you know, you know.

The Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular is back, which means the Sanderson Sisters are taking over Cinderella Castle with help from Hades, Cruella, Jafar, and the rest of the villain crew. You'll be singing "I Put a Spell on You" for days afterward.

And then there's the fireworks. Disney's Not So Spooky Spectacular features Jack Skellington telling spooky stories while the castle transforms into a haunted house. Zero flies around, Oogie Boogie shows up, and the fireworks are unreal.

Candy and Characters

There are over a dozen trick-or-treat spots marked on your party map, and you don't even need a costume to collect the goods. They hand out free treat bags at the door, so don't stress about packing your pumpkin bucket. We're talking full-size Mars candy here. M&Ms, Snickers, the good stuff.

For character meet and greets, Jack and Sally will be there, plus Mickey and Minnie in Halloween outfits at Town Square Theater. Pooh shows up as a bumblebee, which is adorable, and you'll catch royal couples like Ariel and Eric wandering around. Plus villains roaming the streets trying to scare you.

Some rides are getting Halloween overlays too, though Disney hasn't said which ones yet. We're betting on Space Mountain and maybe Pirates, but we'll have to wait and see.

Foodies, keep an eye out for the 2026 MNSSHP Foodie Guide dropping later. Last year we had some wild treats, and we can't wait to see what they cook up this time.

So yeah, start planning your costume now. We'll see you on Main Street with a sugar high and a light-up necklace.
