Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets at Disney's Hollywood Studios is getting a holiday makeover this fall and winter. From November 4 through January 6, The Electric Mayhem is performing a limited-time seasonal version of the coaster called Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring The Muppets: Obligatory Holiday Overlay, complete with festive songs, new story moments, and Muppet-sized holiday chaos.

Before you even reach the queue, you'll hear holiday music filling the courtyard around the attraction's famous guitar marquee, setting up the concert vibe right from the start.

Inside G-Force Records
Once you're in the building, you'll find Dr. Teeth, Animal, Floyd, Janice, Zoot, and Lips frantically prepping for their holiday show. A few Muppet friends stop by to help (or at least try to), which means things probably won't go exactly smoothly. That's kind of the whole appeal when you're working with a rock band known for causing mayhem.

The big technical highlight here is a new Audio-Animatronics version of Scooter. Walt Disney Imagineering created it using motion-capture technology from the actual Muppet performer, so the figure moves and reacts just like the real Scooter. His job is convincing the band to actually get to their show on time, which... well, you can imagine how that's going.

You'll ride the new Lengthy Immediate Motion Object (L.I.M.O.) in the alley behind Studio C, which is basically Muppet Labs' answer to a super-powered tour vehicle.

The Holiday Setlist
The coaster features four new holiday songs for this overlay:
- "Holiday Road" with Kermit the Frog and Fozzie Bear
- "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)" with Jennifer Hudson
- "Silver Bells" with Cyndi Lauper
- "Little Saint Nick" (Electric Mayhem only)

Each one keeps that high-energy rock concert feel while leaning into holiday themes. It's the same coaster experience you know, just with different music and story beats to match the season.
