We're Getting a Mandalorian Mission on Smugglers Run

Disney just announced that Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run is getting a brand new mission featuring The Mandalorian and Grogu starting May 22, 2026. You'll hunt bounties across iconic locations like Cloud City and the Death Star wreckage instead of just smuggling coaxium. It launches the same day as the new movie hits theaters, so you can watch the film then live it out at Disneyland or Disney World.

We Finally Have a Date

Okay, we've officially got a launch date for that Mandalorian content coming to Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run. Mark your calendars for May 22, 2026, because that's when we're getting a brand new mission plus the release of Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu in theaters. Disney really loves a good synergy moment, and honestly? We're here for it.

We've been flying the same Hondo Ohnaka smuggling route since Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge opened, so fresh content in that cockpit is long overdue. The idea of actually teaming up with The Mandalorian and that little green guy instead of just moving coaxium sounds like a total blast.

Bounty Hunting in the Falcon

Here's the deal. Hondo's arranged for us to track down three wanted bounties: two Imperial officers and a pirate. You'll pilot the Millennium Falcon to Tatooine first to meet up with Mando and Grogu, then chase those targets across some pretty iconic locations.

We're talking about possibly flying to Cloud City on Bespin, Coruscant, or even the wreckage of the second Death Star orbiting Endor. That's way more exciting than just grabbing containers of stuff, right? The briefing footage shows the inside of the Razor Crest, and the whole vibe feels very Mandalorian. Plus there's new mission music you can already stream on the Disney Parks YouTube channel if you want to get hyped before you fly.

Planning Your Trip

If you're trying to plan a visit around this launch, remember the ride lives in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge at both Disneyland and Disney's Hollywood Studios. The physical ride vehicle isn't changing, but the video and objectives will be completely new.

You could theoretically watch The Mandalorian and Grogu on opening night, then head to the parks the next day to actually fly alongside them. Just maybe practice your piloting skills beforehand. Crashing the Falcon is embarrassing enough without doing it in front of Din Djarin.
