Disney's Lakeshore Lodge opens on July 1, 2027, at Walt Disney World Resort, and the resort is shaping up to be something really different. With 967 rooms ranging from small studios to massive three-bedroom grand villas, there's going to be a lot of variety in how you can stay here. Reservations open October 8, 2026, though DVC members get early access on October 6 and Annual Passholders on October 7.
What you're getting in the rooms
The resort is pulling design inspiration from classic Disney animated films, so each room type has its own story. The standout accommodations are the new Lake Houses: one- and two-bedroom freestanding buildings with dramatic A-frame roofs, floor-to-ceiling windows, and private porches right on Bay Lake. These sleep up to five or eight guests and come with full kitchens and washers and dryers. Inside, you'll find artwork celebrating Brother Bear and even a Northern Lights-inspired lighting feature in the primary bedroom.
If you're looking for something smaller, there are Duo Studios inspired by Encanto, Deluxe Studios celebrating Bambi, and a range of villas in one-, two-, and three-bedroom options. The three-bedroom Grand Villas are designed for bigger groups and family celebrations, sleeping up to 12 and featuring multiple bathrooms, full kitchens, and private patios with views of Bay Lake.

For the luxury side, there's a Hidden Willow Presidential Suite that sleeps up to six and gives you views of Magic Kingdom fireworks at night. Club level guests staying in select resort rooms get access to The Artist's Nest, a concierge lounge with complimentary refreshments and exclusive nighttime views.
Dining and gathering spaces
The resort is getting three main dining venues. Moonglade is a table-service restaurant on the waterfront with seasonal, locally sourced dishes. Bay Lake Provisions is a quick-service marketplace for coffee and grab-and-go meals. Paint Out Point Bar & Grill sits near the pool and serves shareable food with specialty drinks.
There's also Branch & Brush, a lounge just off the main lobby where you can get handcrafted cocktails and views of Bay Lake. The standout feature here is a color-changing chandelier designed to reflect the four seasons.

The lobby and first impressions
When you arrive, you're walking into a space that's been heavily influenced by Pocahontas. The lobby has massive floor-to-ceiling windows showing off The Wetlands outdoor area. Underfoot, a fiberoptic river glows and flows around a custom bronze centerpiece designed by Walt Disney Imagineering. Overhead, there's a blown glass sculpture called Colors of the Wind with hundreds of suspended glass leaves. The whole effect is designed to make nature feel like it's flowing right into the building itself.
