The Disneyland Resort is bringing back its full holiday celebration from November 13, 2026, through January 6, 2027. Both parks, the hotels, and Downtown Disney will be decked out with seasonal décor, special entertainment, food offerings, and character experiences throughout the season.
What's happening at Disneyland Park
You'll see the usual holiday staples: a 60-foot Christmas tree on Main Street, Sleeping Beauty's Winter Castle lit up with 80,000 lights, and the return of "A Christmas Fantasy Parade" and "Believe...In Holiday Magic" fireworks. The fireworks will feature artificial snowfall in multiple locations around the park.

Two classic rides are getting holiday makeovers. Haunted Mansion Holiday returns with its Nightmare Before Christmas theme, and this year marks the 25th anniversary of the attraction's gingerbread house display. "It's a small world" Holiday comes back with festive music and decorations, plus the building's exterior will be covered in 400,000 lights.

Mickey, Minnie, and friends will be dressed in new holiday attire around Town Square, and you can visit Santa at Mickey's Toontown Trolley Barn near Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin. If you have kids, "Bluey's Best Day Ever!" continues at Fantasyland Theatre.
Disneyland is also offering a Holiday Time at the Disneyland Resort Guided Tour with reserved seating for the parade and stories about Walt Disney's holidays. Pricing and booking details will come later on Disneyland.com.
What's new at Disney California Adventure
"World of Color - Season of Light" returns as the park's main nighttime spectacular, featuring scenes from Beauty and the Beast, Inside Out, and other Disney films.

The Disney Festival of Holidays brings six marketplaces with seasonal food and drinks. You can buy a Sip and Savor Pass with six coupons to sample items across participating locations. "Mickey's Happy Holidays" cavalcade runs daily with the Holiday Toy Drummers traveling from Paradise Gardens Park to Hollywood Land.

Live performances happen throughout the season at Paradise Garden Bandstand. On select days, you'll see "A Musical Christmas with Mariachi Alegría de Disneyland & Miguel" on Buena Vista Street and "Mirabel's Gifts of the Season" at Paradise Gardens Park.
Disney ¡Viva Navidad! and Cars Land
Disney ¡Viva Navidad! celebrates Latin American holiday traditions with the Three Caballeros, folklorico dancers, mariachis, and samba dancers. These performances happen on select days at Paradise Gardens Park.

Cars Land is getting full holiday treatment with wreaths, bows, and colorful lights. Overlays transform Luigi's Ride the Coaster into Luigi's Joy to the Whirl and the tractor ride into Mater's Jingle Jamboree. At sunset each day, there's a "Sh-boom" moment when the land's lights all come on.

Hotel experiences and special offerings
You can visit Santa at Disneyland Hotel, Pixar Place Hotel, or Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa. Grand Californian features a 7-foot-tall gingerbread display inspired by the hotel's own architecture.

Three character dining experiences are running from November 16 through January 3, 2027:
- Goofy's Kitchen Celebrates the Holidays! at Disneyland Hotel
- Daisy's Holiday Pajama Party at Storytellers Cafe at Grand Californian
- Mickey's Christmas Carol Feast at Storytellers Cafe at Grand Californian

Reservations open later on Disneyland.com. The hotels also have seasonal items at various cafes and lounges, plus spa treatments like the Naughty or Nice foot treatments and Joy of Holiday body treatment at Tenaya Stone Spa (for an additional fee).
Hotel deals and more
If you're staying overnight, a limited-time hotel offer with up to 20% off three-night stays begins September 22, 2026. The offer applies to stays from October 11 through December 18, 2026 at any of the four resort hotels, subject to availability.
Downtown Disney District will also transform into a winter wonderland with seasonal décor, food and drinks, nightly snowfall, and festive entertainment starting November 13.
