Mandalorian and Grogu: New Snacks, Smugglers Run Mission, and More Coming to the Parks

The parks are going all out for Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu with a new Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run mission dropping May 22, 2026, plus Grogu cookies, character sightings, and a ton of new merch. You'll actually get to fly with Mando and Grogu, and if you're lucky enough to be the engineer, you get to check on the little guy and pick your destination. Whether you're in it for the snacks, the LEGO sets, or just want to draw Grogu at Animation Academy, there's plenty to get excited about.

Okay, so Star Wars: The Mandalorian and Grogu hits theaters on May 22, and the parks are going absolutely wild with new stuff. We're talking a full Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run overhaul, new snacks that look too cute to eat, and actual Grogu sightings in the land. If you're a Star Wars fan, this is basically your Christmas morning.

New Mission: Actually Flying With Mando and Grogu

Starting May 22, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run is getting a brand new storyline at both Disneyland and Disney's Hollywood Studios.

Hondo Ohnaka's back, naturally, and he's caught wind of some shady deal going down on Tatooine. Ex-Imperial officers are mixing it up with pirates, there's a fat bounty on the line, and guess who's joining your crew? That's right, Din Djarin and the little guy himself. You'll literally be flying the Falcon alongside them.

And here's the part that has me actually screaming: if you get the Engineer position, you can check in on Grogu during the flight. Plus, engineers get to pick which planet you're heading to. So, you know, no pressure, but choose wisely. The ride will still take you to spots like Bespin, the Death Star II wreckage, or Coruscant, but now Grogu's there judging your piloting skills.

Grogu Takes Over Batuu (and Your Sketchbook)

Over at Disneyland, they're running a limited time projection show called "The Curious Child" right after "Shadows of Memory: A Skywalker Saga" each night. It plays on the spires near the Falcon and shows Grogu using his powers to remember his adventures with Mando. It's basically a giant bat signal for Grogu stans.

But wait, there's more. At Disney California Adventure, you can actually learn to draw the little green bean at Animation Academy. Classes run every 30 minutes in the Disney Animation Building, and you don't need reservations. So you can walk out with your own Grogu masterpiece, even if it looks more like a potato. We've all been there.

Also, keep your eyes peeled for new PhotoPass Magic Shots scattered around Galaxy's Edge, Tomorrowland at Disneyland, Disney Springs, and even Discoveryland at Disneyland Paris. Strike a pose and you might find Grogu photobombing your pic.

The Snacks Look Incredible (and Adorable)

Okay, let's talk about the important stuff: food. Both coasts are getting Grogu Cookies, which, let's be honest, you're going to feel terrible eating because he's too cute. But you'll do it anyway.

Over at Walt Disney World, they're also dropping Sweet-and-Spicy Puffer Pig Pasta, which sounds weird but I'm absolutely trying it. Both parks get the Mandalorian and Grogu Jetpack Sipper and a BDX Droid Bucket, but heads up: there's a limit of two per person, and you know these are going to sell out fast.

If you're hopping over to Disneyland Paris, they've got exclusive treats: a Grogu Burger, Grogu Blue Macaron at Café Hyperion, and a Grogu Biscuit at Cool Station. So basically, you can eat Grogu three times a day. Not creepy at all.

Time to Empty Your Wallet

The merchandise drop is massive. At both resorts, you'll find new tees featuring the Mythosaur crest, puzzles, and a Mandalorian & Grogu Figure Set coming soon. Check Tatooine Traders, Dok-Ondar's Den of Antiquities, Star Wars Trading Post, or World of Disney to stock up.

Third party stuff is hitting too: Hasbro has an Action Buddy Grogu and Black Series figures, Mattel made a deluxe plush, and CASETiFY dropped an AirPods Pro case that looks sleek enough for the Razor Crest.

And for the LEGO nerds (hi, it's me), there are new sets: the LEGO Star Wars AT-RT Attack, The Razor Crest, and the massive N-1 Starfighter Ultimate Collector Series. Time to clear some shelf space.

You Might Actually See Them

Real talk: Mando and Grogu are doing meet and greets. You can spot them at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in both California and Florida, plus Discoveryland at Disneyland Paris. So start practicing your "this is the way" now.

The movie drops May 22, and honestly, the parks are giving us every reason to celebrate. Whether you're flying with Hondo, eating Grogu's face, or just trying to get that perfect Magic Shot, it's a good time to be a Star Wars fan.
