Disney shared a massive batch of announcements at D23, covering new attractions, reimagined experiences, and entertainment coming to parks worldwide over the next few years. Here's what's actually happening.
Disneyland and California Adventure
Avengers Campus is getting a major expansion at Disney California Adventure in 2028. Two new attractions are coming: Avengers Infinity Defense, which will feature returning actors from the films in massive physical sets combined with media, and Stark Flight Lab, a training experience where Robert Downey Jr. Anthony Mackie, and Brie Larson reprise their film roles.
Back at Disneyland park, three beloved entertainment experiences are returning in 2027. Remember... Dreams Come True nighttime spectacular comes back in February, World of Color gets an updated version at California Adventure also in February, and Magic Happens parade returns to Main Street U.S.A. in summer.

At California Adventure, the first Coco attraction at any Disney park is in development. You'll board a boat and travel through Miguel's memories of the Land of the Dead. The queue will feature a "casa museo" celebrating Hector Rivera's music, and the story picks up a year after the original film.
Magic Kingdom and Beyond
Carousel of Progress is getting a refresh starting late spring 2027, with Jamie Lee Curtis and Bryan Cranston as the new mom and dad characters, plus an updated 1980s scene.

Two new lands are coming to Magic Kingdom. Villains Land opens in 2027, letting you step into a dark world shaped by Disney's most infamous characters. You'll race through Maleficent's enchanted briars on a coaster and explore the Magic Mirror's mystical realm. Monsters, Inc. Land also opens in 2027, featuring a new theater show with Mike and Sulley, locations from the film like Harryhausen's, and Archie's Scare Pig Pizza. Randy Newman wrote an original song for the land.

Miss Fritter's Daredevil Spin-Along is bringing the legendary demolition derby champion from Cars 3 to Piston Peak, and Cars Ridge Run Rally will let you race through snowy peaks and past geysers with Lightning McQueen and Mater cheering from the sidelines.

Animal Kingdom
Indiana Jones and the Myth of the Jade Serpent is coming to the new Tropical Americas land, taking you into an ancient Maya temple with legendary creatures and a massive serpent inspired by Maya mythology.

Antonio's Fiesta de Encanto will invite you into Casita on Antonio's special gift day, exploring new rooms created just for the attraction and experiencing the world of Encanto.

The Yeti at Expedition Everest is being brought back to life after years of being out of commission.

EPCOT and Beyond
Spaceship Earth is getting its first major update in nearly two decades. The story will expand from human communication to human connection while keeping the optimism that's always defined it. New magic is planned throughout the journey.

International Parks
At Hong Kong Disneyland, a new Avengers Pavilion is coming to Stark Expo, bringing you into the Avengers Research Testing Labs with Peter Parker and new technology, plus a Quinjet landing platform.

Shanghai Disney Resort is getting the first Disney Parks land dedicated entirely to Spider-Man. Web Slingers Land includes a new coaster, Spider-Bots, and adventures from the Worldwide Engineering Brigade (W.E.B.), blending science experiments with super-powered fun.

Tokyo Disneyland's Space Mountain: Earthrise is a brand new experience celebrating Earth's beauty as part of a reimagined Tomorrowland. Meanwhile, Space Mountain is returning to its origins at Disneyland Paris as Space Mountain: De la Terre à la Lune, inspired by Jules Verne with the original musical score.

Tokyo Disneyland is also getting Sugar Rush: Sweet Rescue, where you'll join Ralph and Vanellope inside the Sugar Rush game, helping transform rogue sugar bugs while staying ahead of King Candy.
Disney Cruise Line
The Disney Believe sets sail in 2027, with Moana greeting guests in the Grand Hall, Tinker Bell at the bow, and Buzz and Woody at the stern. A completely new class of ships is arriving in 2029, sitting between Disney's classic and newest ships in size and opening doors to new destinations.

The Imagineering Story
A second season of The Imagineering Story is in production and will debut on Disney+ next year, pulling back the curtain on developments moving from initial concepts to reality.
