Okay, we need to talk about the Pink Milk. Disney just dropped the May the 4th menu and honestly, we're not emotionally prepared. It's bright, it's fruity, and it's landing at Disney's Hollywood Studios starting May 1st.
Hollywood Studios Is Doing the Most
The Milk Stand is obviously the main event here. Starting May 1st, you can grab the Pink Milk, which is a plant-based rice milk blend that's sweet and vaguely fruity. Want to make it interesting? Get the Pink Milk Cooler with Bacardi Superior Rum. Both are non-dairy, which means we can pretend they're practically health food.
They've also got a Kerkoiden Blue Cake, which is basically a spiced vanilla shortbread cookie with ginger cream cheese icing. And if you're wandering the Beverage Carts in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, look for Ettel Nuts, which are sweet, spicy, and queso fundido nuts with chocolate candy rocks. Sounds weird. We'll eat them anyway.
Over at Oga's Cantina, starting May 4th, they're adding The Roaring Loth-Cat (Minute Maid Apple Juice, lemon, cinnamon, and ginger ale) and Three Suns Over Batuu (lemonade, hot honey, pineapple, mango, and guava). There's also a Kamino Cooler that comes in a DJ R-3X Souvenir Mug, because apparently we need another mug.
Backlot Express is getting in on the action too, with a Your Chosen Path Cupcake that's cookies and cream with marshmallow buttercream and a white chocolate X-Wing. But here's the part that's going to bankrupt us: there's a secret lightsaber color hidden inside the cupcake. We'll end up buying three just to collect them all.
The Swizzle Sticks Are Back
You remember the absolute chaos when those rechargeable lightsaber straws dropped? Well, they're back for May 4th through 31st, but now they're swizzle sticks. You can grab the Chosen One Cooler (Granny Smith apple, white cranberry, and lime) with a green Luke Skywalker stick, or the Sith Lord Libation (blood orange, white cranberry, and lime) with a red Darth Vader stick.
They're available at ABC Commissary, Backlot Express, Rosie's All-American Café, and a few other spots around the park. Limit two per person, so we're absolutely bringing friends to carry extras. You can also get them spiked with Absolut Citron Vodka if you're having that kind of day.
Disney Springs Sweet Stuff
If you're hitting Disney Springs, Amorette's Patisserie has a Bright Suns Chocolate Mousse with milk chocolate, lemon curd, and tangerine starting May 4th. Meanwhile, The Ganachery is dropping Across the Stars Ganache Bars inspired by planets: corn and nuts for Kashyyyk, dragon fruit for Tatooine, spicy cherry for Mustafar, and mint-lime for Hoth. Plus a Millennium Falcon Chocolate Pop because why not.
The Buckets. Oh, The Buckets.
Disney knows we can't resist plastic containers. Here's the lineup:
- Salvaged Protocol Droid Bucket: A very rusty, very sad looking C-3PO. We love him.
- Bantha Sipper: It's a Bantha. With a little saddle. You put your drink in it.
- Jabba's Sail Barge Bucket: This one drops May 4th and 5th via mobile order at the Souvenir Release Store, then moves to Kat Saka's Kettle on May 6th.
- Rechargeable Lightsaber Swizzle Sticks: Available at Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo with the Moof Juice or Takondana Quencher, or at Oga's Cantina with Jabba Juice or Outer Rim.
What's Up at Disneyland?
Over at Disneyland Resort, you can already grab the Salvaged Protocol Droid Bucket and Bantha Sipper starting April 28th. They're also doing the whole lightsaber swizzle stick thing over there, so you West Coast folks aren't missing out.
Look, we're gonna be spending way too much money on colored milk and popcorn buckets next week. But it's Star Wars. It's May the 4th. And honestly, we wouldn't have it any other way.
