Disneyland's Getting Back Three Fan Favorites in 2027

Disneyland's bringing back three entertainment experiences in 2027: a refreshed "Remember... Dreams Come True" nighttime show in February, an updated "World of Color" at California Adventure also in February, and the "Magic Happens" parade starting summer 2027.

Disney Parks just announced some news that longtime Disneyland fans have been hoping for: three beloved entertainment experiences are making comebacks in 2027. The announcements came from Neil Patrick Harris during a presentation at D23, where he talked about his own memories of watching parades and nighttime shows at the resort.

Here's what's coming back:

"Remember... Dreams Come True" Returns in February

The "Remember... Dreams Come True" nighttime spectacular will light up Disneyland park starting in February 2027. This is a refreshed version of the show that originally debuted during the resort's 50th anniversary celebration.

The spectacle will use projections on Sleeping Beauty Castle (the classic anchor of any Disneyland show), but this time it'll expand to include Rivers of America, the facade of "it's a small world," and stretches of Main Street, U.S.A.. Most nights you'll get the full projection experience, and on select evenings, fireworks will light up the sky too.

The show features music and visuals tied to Disney stories and celebrates Walt Disney's original vision for the park. You might remember Julie Andrews introduced the original version.

"World of Color" Gets an Updated Version

Over at Disney California Adventure, an updated take on the original "World of Color" will debut in February 2027. This version focuses on stories from Walt Disney Animation Studios (think The Little Mermaid and The Lion King) and Pixar films like Finding Nemo and Toy Story.

The musical score pulls together a special arrangement of the 1960s "Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color" theme song, originally composed by Richard B. and Robert M. Sherman.

"Magic Happens" Parade Coming Back in Summer

The "Magic Happens" parade will return to Disneyland park in summer 2027. This daytime parade features floats and costumes celebrating Disney stories, with Mickey Mouse leading the way.

You'll see characters and scenes from classics like Cinderella and The Sword in the Stone, plus Coco from Pixar. The parade blends contemporary and classic vibes, mixing high-energy performances with familiar Disney magic.
